I've just heard an ugly rumor that the Wilkes-Barre YMCA is actually going to give the kids-for-cash moneyman Robert Mericle some kind of award or honor or citation.
Say it's just a rumor and not some sickness-truth.
I mean I know the Y's Exec Director is == well == he's been in the building a little too long (about a decade ago I wrote a column for the TImes-Leader comparing the Y to a frog pond and he was not, to put it mildly, happy with it) and I've heard the rumors that they are having trouble selling their "upscale" condos but they can't need money that bad, can they?
If the Y is supposed to be all about Christian principles, why would they give the antichrist an award? It makes no sense.
