Ah yes, in that quiet multicultural paradise known as Sherman Hills, perhaps the most wanted man in the country, the slug who killed the one-year-old in NYC by shooting the toddler in the head, was captured at the Garden of Eden....er, Sherman Hills. Boy lucky it wasn't after Oct. 1 or the new parking rules would have kept them out, right? right. At least the CV is coming around, describing SH as "crime-ridden." And DA Stephanie Salavantis said what I've been saying all along: the thugs, killers and gangbangers are coming from out of town: She said the big-city boys are "frustrated" with long waiting lines for federal benefits -- since when did public housing become a right and not a privilege? -- and "see a much easier way to get government help here, like housing at Sherman Hills." Well, as we used to say, no shit, Sherlock. WTF. When are the officials going to actually DO SOMETHING about this place? I'd be in favor of shutting it down, placing the responsible residents in other housing (and if the Feds can help fund this place they can help find other housing) and kicking the scum in the ass and out of this place. Ain't gonna happen, right? Right. Like the one SH resident said: "It's life as usual." And that's the scariest part of it.
