Well, for all those who thought I was dumb, I've just proved I was dumber.
The editorial head of the TL, I can't even force myself to type the name anymore, just showed how dumb I was.
This guy, who I would have considered a friend right up to this morning, did something that was absolutely correct within the letter of the law, but not what I would have expected.
Anyhow, I had this little pr job, part time, minimum wage, but I loved it got to be really, really close with the folks there. Made the mistake of sending one of my intemperate emails, and they can be REALLY intemperate, to he that shall not be named.
Instead of flaming me back or telling me to leave him alone he spent the time to not only find out my boss but HIS boss and HIS boss' boss and tell them that I was using their email and time to send this nonsense (and since I always had access to my Verizon account even I'm baffled while I would do this).
Anyhow, this morning my boss gently told me my computer accounts were closed and "we have to let you go immediately."
So there we are. So I'm in the FF Dunkin' Donuts, somewhat in shock though, since my big mouth has got me in endless trouble over my weird up-and-down career, I shouldn't be. But I should have known that anything associated with the TL could only mean trouble for me.
